PUCCH DMRS (LTE-Advanced)

PUCCH DMRS is the Demodulation Reference Signal for the uplink user's PUCCH Physical Uplink Control Channel channel. The modulation type used is QPSK Quadrature phase shift keying, but the constellation is rotated by a (Cyclic Shift). This is signified by "QPSK*" on the Frame Summary trace. PUCCH DMRS is transmitted on all subcarriers during the symbols specified by Table 5.5.2.2.2-1 in 3GPP TS Technical Specification 36.211.

When RB Auto Detect is selected, Frame Summary shows information about all detected PUCCH DMRS signals which match the PUCCH parameters in the LTE Allocation Editor. This information is located in the PUCCH_DMRS row for User01.

When RB Auto Detect is cleared, Frame Summary shows information about PUCCH DMRS in the PUCCH_DMRS row for the user currently selected for analysis and shows "---" for the other users' PUCCH_DMRS rows since the demodulator can only analyze one user at a time.
