EVM Minimization: Timing (LTE)

When is selected, the LTE Long Term Evolution demodulator compares the reference signal with the expected value and computes an error which is used adjust the timing of the subcarrier values in each symbol.
When is set to , corrections are averaged and applied to each subframe for downlink and each slot for uplink.
When is set to , corrections are applied to each symbol.
EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. Minimization corrections are different from equalization or synchronization which are performed on an entire frame. See Equalizer Training and EVM Minimization for more information.
