DCI Formats 1/1A Detection Include

DCI Formats 1/1A Detection Include is used to configure how the demodulator detects DCI Downlink Control Information formats 1 and 1A.

The LTE Long Term Evolution demodulator uses the number of the PDCCH Physical Downlink Control Channel message payload bits to determine the DCI format used in a PDCCH. DCI formats 1 and 1A can sometimes have equal lengths. To specify which DCI formats to look for, the LTE demodulator provides the following settings for the DCI Formats 1/1A Detection Include parameter.

• Format 1 - When frame configuration allows format 1 to have the same length as format 1A, all DCI message payloads of this length are decoded as format 1. Otherwise, formats 1 and 1A are decoded separately.
• Format 1A - When frame configuration allows format 1 to have the same length as format 1A, all DCI message payloads of this length are decoded as format 1A. Otherwise, formats 1 and 1A are decoded separately.
