MBSFN-RS (LTE)
MBSFN-RS Multicast-Broadcast Single Frequency Network Reference Signal is the Multicast/Broadcast Single Frequency Network Reference Signal and is used for equalization of PMCH transmissions.
The modulation type of MBSFN-RS is QPSK Quadrature phase shift keying.
MBSFN-RS is transmitted on antenna port 4 with PMCH Physical Multicast Channel and is defined only for extended CP Length.
The LTE Long Term Evolution Demodulator has the following restrictions when analyzing MBMS Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service signals:
- Only 15 kHz kiloHertz: A radio frequency measurement (one kilohertz = one thousand cycles per second). subcarrier spacing is supported.
- It is assumed there is no PDSCH Physical Downlink Shared Channel in MBSFN regions within the frame.
