C-RS (LTE)
C-RS Cell-specific RS is the Downlink Cell-specific Reference Signal and is used for EVM Minimization and Equalizer Training, and can be used for synchronization.
C-RS is also used as the power level reference for the rest of the signal. See Downlink Control Channel Properties for more information.
The modulation type of C-RS is QPSK Quadrature phase shift keying.
In previous versions of the VSA, C-RS was shown as "RS" on traces and on the UI (and still is on marker annotations).
