RSCTE (LTE)

RSCTE shows the average magnitude of the common tracking error calculated from the cell-specific reference signal for each C-RS Cell-specific RS/Rx path. RSCTE is computed by calculating the common tracking error for the C-RS subcarriers and then rms averaging the errors.

RSCTE is calculated from the data in the Measurement Interval.

RSCTE is expressed as a percentage of the ideal signal, which has a common tracking error of 1. See the Common Tracking Error trace topic for more information.

RSCTE is calculated with a Symbol Timing Adjust setting of EVM Window Center. When Symbol Timing Adjust is set to a value other than EVM Window Center, RSCTE may not match the corresponding Common Tracking Error data results in the Error Summary table and Common Tracking Error trace.
