About MB-OFDM Band Packet Summary Table
The Band Packet Summary table provides measurement and analysis information unique to the MB-OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. Band Packet Summary data. A list of the available error data is provided in the Available Data Results topic, which also links to detailed descriptions for each error result.
The MB-OFDM Band Packet Summary table pulls together individual MB-OFDM packet errors for each of the Bands used in an MB-OFDM hopping sequence. For more information on MB-OFDM Packets, see MB-OFDM Modulation Overview. Other reference information useful for this error table includes: Time Frequency Codes, Band Group and Band Frequencies, and MB-OFDM Frequency Hopping.
If this table reports no data (***) characters it is likely that the signal under test is not hopping, or that Frequency Hopping Analysis has been disabled. The Band Packet Summary table below shows the results for 8 where the band hopping sequence does not include Band 3 (High band).
