About MB-OFDM Band Packet Summary Table

The Band Packet Summary table provides measurement and analysis information unique to the MB-OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. Band Packet Summary data. A list of the available error data is provided in the Available Data Results topic, which also links to detailed descriptions for each error result.

The MB-OFDM Band Packet Summary table pulls together individual MB-OFDM packet errors for each of the Bands used in an MB-OFDM hopping sequence. For more information on MB-OFDM Packets, see MB-OFDM Modulation Overview. Other reference information useful for this error table includes: Time Frequency Codes, Band Group and Band Frequencies, and MB-OFDM Frequency Hopping.

If this table reports no data (***) characters it is likely that the signal under test is not hopping, or that Frequency Hopping Analysis has been disabled. The Band Packet Summary table below shows the results for TFC 8 where the band hopping sequence does not include Band 3 (High band).
