E-UTRA Parameters (In-Band) (NB-IoT)

Bandwidth - When In-band (same PCI) or In-band (different PCI) operation mode is selected, sets the system bandwidth (number of Resource Blocks).

Default: 3 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second. (15 RB)

Choices: 3 MHz (15 RB), 5 MHz (25 RB), 10 MHz (50 RB), 15 MHz (75 RB), 20 MHz (100 RB)

Cell ID - When In-band (different PCI) operation mode is selected, sets the E-UTRA UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access: A W-CDMA standard developed ETSI, ARIB and the TIA. This system uses DSSS and either FDD or TDD depending on its frequency assignment and application. Carrier’s Cell ID.

RB Offset - When In-band (same PCI) or In-band (different PCI) operation mode is selected, sets the PRB index of NB-IoT downlink carrier.

Default: 0 RB

Num. of C-RS Ports - When In-band (same PCI) or In-band (different PCI) operation mode is selected, use the drop-down menu to select the number of E-UTRA C-RS antenna ports. See 3GPP TS36.331 6.7.2 for more information on eutra-NumCRS-Ports and other MasterInformationBlock-NB fields.

Default: 1

Choices: 1, 2, 4

Control Region Size - When In-band (same PCI) or In-band (different PCI) operation mode is selected, control region size specifies the number of OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. symbols at the beginning of a subframe that are allocated to the E-UTRA carrier’s PDCCH channel.
