NPUSCH Format Parameters (NB-IoT)

Auto - When selected (enabled), the NB-IoT demodulator autodetects the NPUSCH format parameters.

Default: Enabled

Choices: Enabled, Disabled

Subcarrier Spacing - When Auto is disabled, sets the subcarrier spacing for the uplink transmission.

Default: 15 kHz kiloHertz: A radio frequency measurement (one kilohertz = one thousand cycles per second).

Choices: 3.75 kHz (single-tone only), 15 kHz (single-tone and multitone)

Number of Tones - When Auto is disabled, sets the number of tones present in the uplink transmission. The In-band Emissions trace is not available when the NPUSCH number of tones = 12.

Default: 12

Subcarrier Offset - When Auto is disabled, sets the subcarrier offset. Based on an uplink carrier's 180 kHz total system bandwidth, the available subcarrier offsets depend on the selected Subcarrier Spacing and Number of Tones (for Subcarrier Spacing = 3.75 kHz, Number of Tones is always 1)

Default: 0

Choices:

Subcarrier Spacing = 3.75 kHz: 0-47

Subcarrier Spacing = 15 kHz: 0-11 (Number of Tones = 1); 0, 3, 6, 9 (Number of Tones = 3); 0, 6 (Number of Tones = 6); 0 (Number of Tones = 12)
