Deviation (RFID)

For FSK Frequency Shift Keying: A form of modulation using multiple carrier frequencies to carry the digital information. The most common is the two frequency FSK system using the two frequencies to carry the binary ones and zeros. signals, Deviation is the average frequency offset of the FSK signal from the carrier.

Deviation is derived at the symbol locations, as shown in the following diagram. Points between symbols are not used to compute the deviation.
