Inst Spectrum (RFID)

The Inst Spectrum trace shows the frequency spectrum of the pre-demodulated time data. When RFID Demodulation is enabled, the Inst Spectrum trace is the averaged, Instantaneous Spectrum display, as shown in the following block diagram. If averaging is off, the Spectrum and Inst Spectrum displays are identical.

The Inst Spectrum trace is derived from pre-demodulated time data, which is 20% longer than the result length.

If averaging is on, the Inst Spectrum trace does not show the effects of averaging. To see the effects of averaging, use the Spectrum trace data. See the block diagram below.
