Error and Status Messages

The 89600 VSA may show status and error messages to inform you of a condition that may need attention.

The following illustration shows the location of these messages.

• Beta Features In Use indicator shows the number of Beta features in use in the current measurement(s).

• Calibration status messages show the current calibration state for the selected hardware.

• External reference lock state messages indicate the lock state of the external reference for measurement hardware that has an External Reference In capability

• Measurement errors indicate an error with the measurement and are shown in popup dialogs.

• Measurement status messages show the status of the current measurement (for example, if the measurement is in the process of filling the time record).

• Spectrum Rate indicator displays the speed at which measurements are being made.

• Trace indicators inform you of conditions that occurred when a trace was created.
