Calibration Status Messages
The status of the calibration is listed in the indicator that appears in the lower right corner of the main window.
|
CAL:
|
Indicates that manual calibration has been selected. The possible calibration
states are:
-
The calibration data is
current.
-
The hardware has not been
calibrated or the calibration data is out of date. Use the controls on the Calibration dialog box to recalibrate for the best accuracy.
-
The measurement is no longer fully calibrated because the temperature of the
measurement hardware is changing rapidly. (This probably means the
hardware was recently turned on.) When the temperature
stabilizes, this state will change to either or Recalibration will improve accuracy for measurements performed immediately afterwards.
-
The current hardware
configuration does not support calibration (for example,
simulated hardware or ADS interface).
Right-clicking this area brings up a menu with choices for performing calibration.

AUTOCAL:
|
Indicates that has been selected on the Calibration dialog box. This selection is only available for some hardware configurations. The possible calibration states are:
- : The calibration data is current.
- : An is held off due to a recording in process. The calibration will be performed within the next minute.
- : An error occurred during and the calibration was temporarily suspended. Use on the dialog box to redo the calibration, clear the error, and re-enable.
