Active Antenna Threshold (802.11n/ac/ax/be)

The Active Antenna Threshold parameter is used for improving EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. results for MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. test cases, especially when the Q matrix is direct mapping. This parameter is useful for all 11n/ac/ax MIMO test cases.

The value is used for determining if the elements of which the row index is different from its column index in the channel matrix can be seen as noise rather than cross talk. When the value of the element is less than the threshold value, the element is seen as noise and is excluded from EVM calculation.
