Puncturing Configuration (802.11n/ac/ax/be)

Puncturing Configuration specifies the preamble puncturing method used. Puncturing Configuration is only visible for 802.11be signals with bandwidths ≥ 80 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second., or for Non-HT high throughput duplicated mode standards.

802.11be ≥ 80 MHz

• Automatic: The VSA automatically detects punctured RUs based on power levels. A summary of the detected 20 MHz punctured segments is shown on the Burst Info trace.
• No Puncturing (Default): The VSA assumes there is no puncturing applied to the signal.

 

Non-HT duplicated mode standards

• Automatically Detect (Default): The VSA automatically detects punctured RUs based on power levels. A summary of the detected 20 MHz punctured segments is shown on the Burst Info trace.
• Not Punctured: The VSA assumes there is no puncturing applied to the signal.
