SYSTem:PREFerences:STARt:OPTion <char>

(Read-Write) Set and query the current Startup Option preference that decides the FieldFox Power On behavior.

Note:

• An instrument can never power up for the first time in LAST.

• If line power to the instrument is interrupted, for example if there is no battery and pulling the line cord plug or by switching off power to a test rack/bench, Last Power Off State may not work properly. For proper operation, Last Power Off State depends on your shutting down the instrument via softkeys. Note: Any SCPI changes to preferences require follow up "SYST:PREF:SAVE" to take effect.

When set to LAST (Last Power Off State):

·   The last state of the FieldFox is saved on ShutDown or Restart. When the User powers on the FieldFox next time, the last state is loaded immediately.

·   The Startup Mode selected will be ignored during the power on sequence.

·   If User Preset is ON, it is set to OFF. Startup Option “Last Power Off State” takes priority.

When set to USER:

• The Startup Mode selected will be the first mode visible on startup. This is the default option.

• If  User Preset is ON, it is loaded on power on.

Examples

SYST:PREF:STAR:OPT LAST */LAST Power Off state is enabled and the Users Preset is disabled.

SYST:PREF:STAR:OPT USER */USER preset is enabled and the Startup mode is the first mode visible on startup
(USER == default).
