PLTS Free Viewer Mode

PLTS can run in viewer mode if no license exists. The title will be appended with [---PLTS Viewer---] while in viewer mode:

The following sections describe which functions are enabled/disabled and the limitations while in viewer mode.

PLTS Viewer Runs in Off-Line Mode

• S-parameters can only be imported in the frequency domain.
• TDR files can only be imported in the frequency domain and time domain.

Upper Pane Docking Area

• No more than 4 ports of data can be imported.
• Calibration and Template View are disabled.
• Marker Math Definition and Tabular Trace Data panes are enabled.
• Limit Mask Definition pane is disabled.

Parameter Format Selection Pane

• Parameter Format Selection pane is enabled in frequency domain only.

• DUT Configuration and DUT Files Info panes are enabled.

• Parameter Measurement Result and Data Integrity Check panes are disabled.

Menus and Tools

The menus and tools while in viewer mode are dynamically enabled or disabled.

Plot Menus

The majority of the plot menus are enabled.

Automatic Fixture Removal (AFR) in Viewer Mode

AFR can be enabled in viewer mode using the adv_cal license. See License Preferences and Management.
