:TRIGger SEQuence Commands

The Trigger (TRIGger) SEQuence commands configure sequence triggers. Command descriptions are grouped by the following categories

Sequence trigger have these limitations:

• The High Bandwidth Edge and Edge Then Edge trigger modes are not available.

  The Edge Then Edge trigger mode is not available with sequence triggers. However, these commands are documented because when the sequence trigger state is off, the :TRIGger:DELay commands and the :TRIGger:SEQuenceA:DELay commands are aliases:

  • :TRIGger SEQuence Edge Then Edge Commands

• With the PATTern trigger mode (see :TRIGger:SEQuence:MODE), a range trigger condition can be used for SEQuenceA or SEQuenceB, but not both.

• You can only use one long timer (>30 ns). Therefore, trigger modes that use timers greater than 30 ns can only be used for either SEQuenceA or SEQuenceB, but not both. Some examples of trigger modes where you might use a long timer include PWIDth, GLITch, WINDow, TRANsition, and TIMeout.

• With the EDGE trigger mode, the alternating edge slope selection is not available.
