:TRIGger SEQuence Setup And Hold Commands

With a data signal and its associated clock signal:

• Setup time is the amount of time that the data signal must be stable and valid prior to a clock edge.
• Hold time is the amount of time that the data signal must be stable and valid after a clock edge.

This Setup And Hold trigger mode lets you trigger on Setup time violations, Hold time violations, or either Setup time or Hold time violations.

Setup time violations occur when the data signal is not stable and valid for the required amount of time prior to a clock edge.

Hold time violations occur when the data signal is not stable and valid for the required amount of time after a clock edge.

Violations occur when the data signal crosses though the specified violation region(s).
