ABORt Subsystem

Last Updated: August 29, 2007

Description

The ABORt command causes a measurement cycle in progress to stop. If the measurement is not being continuously armed (the trigger arm is set to single), the measurement remains in the idle state after this event. If the measurement is being continuously armed (the trigger arm is set to continuous), a new measurement cycle begins after an ABORt is performmed. If an ABORt command is issued from any measurement state other than measuring, the command is ignored.

For details of the ABORt commands refer to the ABORt topic in this section.

If you want to abort all measurements simultaneously, you can use the SYSTem:MEASurement:RESet command.
