For EXT instrument problems, refer to the EXT's documentation.
Check the signal generator for any error messages; if possible, correct any conditions indicated by the messages.
When a setting conflict (error) occurs, an error number and a brief message appears at the bottom of the signal generator display. You can view the full text of the error message either by using the front panel of the signal generator or by executing SCPI commands:

Downloading the signal configuration places the signal generator in remote operation mode, which deactivates front panel operation. To restore front panel operation to the signal generator, press the Local button in the software.
key on the signal generator, or press theThis error is displayed when the PXB is not configured to accept an ARB waveform file or if not enough BBG resources are available. Check the following possible causes:
Confirm that you have loaded the correct configuration on the PXB.
Confirm that the loaded configuration contains the correct number of BBGs. For example, if Signal Studio set up to download two waveform files, the loaded PXB configuration must contain at least two BBGs.
You cannot download waveforms from Signal Studio to the PXB while the PXB is playing a waveform.
Press the “Stop” button on the PXB to stop the currently playing waveform before downloading waveforms from Signal Studio.

Verify that the equipment meets the minimum requirements as described in the System Requirements step of the installation procedure.
