ETPS (Envelope Tracking Power Supply)

This block is to specify the parameters for the ETPS, which are mostly used in the RF Voltage (power supply of PA) to Envelop Voltage transformation. Most of the definitions in this block follow the terminologies used in MIPI eTrak specification. Refer to Voltage Mapping for more details.

1. ETPS

ETPS Gain

Range: -20 to 20 dB

Default: 7 dB

Coupling: This setting will be grayed out if the Envelope Source is set to User Defined in Envelope Tracking block.

Set the ETPS Gain.

Vcc Offset

Range: 0 to 5 V

Default: 2.750 V

Coupling: This setting will be grayed out if the Envelope Source is set to User Defined in Envelope Tracking block.

Set the Vcc Offset of ETPS.

2. ETPS Input and Output

Vcm

Range: 0 to 2 V

Default: 450 mV

Coupling: This setting will be grayed out if the Envelope Source is set to User Defined in Envelope Tracking block.

Set the common mode voltage specified in the eTrak specification.

Vcc Clipping

Choices: On | Off

Default: Off

Coupling: This setting will be grayed out if the Envelope Source is set to User Defined in Envelope Tracking block.

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to specify whether to clip the envelope value using Vcc Max and Vcc Min values.

Vcc Max

Range: 0.1 to 5 V

Default: 3.8 V

Coupling: Available only when the Vcc Clipping is set to on.

Set the maximum value of Vcc. This parameter is available for Dual-band PA Test only.

If this value is set to a smaller value than Vcc Min, Vcc Min value will be reduced to (Vcc Max -0.1).

Vcc Min

Range: 0 to (Vcc Max - 0.1)

Default: 600 mV

Coupling: Available only when the Vcc Clipping is set to on.

Set the minimum value of Vcc. This parameter is available for Dual-band PA Test only.
