To access the MAC PDU editing node, click the corresponding Advanced
802.16 OFDMA Burst# in the tree view.
Displays the MAC PDU index number.
Choices: Raw; MAC, No CRC; MAC, CRC
Select the mode for the MAC PDU.
Raw – generates payload data bytes only.
MAC, No CRC – includes 6 bytes of MAC header before the data contents but no CRC (cyclic redundancy code).
MAC, CRC – includes 6 bytes of MAC header before the data contents with 4 bytes of CRC included after the data.
Range: 0 to 65535
Enter the connection identifier that indicates a specific connection between a base station and subscriber station. This is used in the MAC header (if present) and MAC messages (DL/UL-MAP) that are generated to describe the signal.
Select the data type used as the payload for this burst. See Data Source Selection Dialog.
Range: 1 to 2047 bytes
Enter the payload data length in bytes. Does not include any bytes used for a MAC PDU header or CRC.
This cell updates automatically. It displays the calculated value that includes the value of Data Length (Bytes) plus 6 bytes if the MAC header is included and 4 bytes if the CRC is included.
