PUCCH

The software controls PUCCH transmission based on the subframe status as set in the Subframe Status tab. The DMRS for PUCCH are assigned according to the PUCCH format and the cyclic prefix mode.

LTE FDD Configuration Summary Table

This section defines the LTE/LTE-Advanced FDD DPCCH/DPDCH's buttons. The Restore Default Settings button is available in all of the LTE FDDn Uplink's tree nodes.

Restores all of the LTE/LTE-Advanced FDD channel's parameters to their default conditions.

1. Common Settings

State

Choice: On |Off

Default: On

Sets the PUCCH channel state.

Power

Range: -60 to 20

Default: 0

Sets the PUCCH channel power in dB.

2. Transmission Settings

N_RB(2)

Range: 0 to 5 (1.4MHz BW), 0 to 14 (3MHz BW), 0 to 24 (5MHz BW), 0 to 49 (10MHz BW), 0 to 74 (15MHz BW), 0 to 99 (20MHz BW)

Default: 0

Enter the PUCCH N_RB(2). This is one of the values used for generating and mapping PUCCH and DMRS PUCCH (see 3GPP TS 36.211).

N_CS(1)

Range: 0 to 7

Default: 0

Enter the PUCCH N_CS(1). This is one of the values used for generating and mapping PUCCH and DMRS PUCCH. Refer to 3GPP TS 36.211.

nPUCCH(1)

Range (Normal CP): 0 to 215 (1.4MHz BW), 539 (3MHz BW), 899 (5MHz BW), 1799 (10MHz BW), 2699 (15MHz BW), 3599 (20MHz BW)

Range (Extended CP): 0 to 143 (1.4MHz BW), 359 (3MHz BW), 599 (5MHz BW), 1199 (10MHz BW), 1799 (15MHz BW), 2399 (20MHz BW)

Default: 0

Enter the resource index nPUCCH(1). The maximum value is calculated by the system bandwidth and other parameters. This is one of the values used for generating and mapping PUCCH and DMRS PUCCH. Refer to 3GPP TS 36.211.

nPUCCH(2)

Range: 0 to (N_RB(2)*N_RB_sc + Ceiling(N_CS(1)/8)*(N_RB_sc-N_CS(1)-2)

Default: 0

Enter the resource index nPUCCH(2). This is one of the values used for generating and mapping PUCCH and DMRS PUCCH. Refer to 3GPP TS 36.211.

3. Demodulation Reference Signal Settings

The demodulation reference signals are defined by a cyclic shift and use the same resource allocation used by PUCCH; power can be set independently. The DMRS for PUCCH are assigned according to the PUCCH format and the cyclic prefix mode. For example, when the PUCCH format is 1/1a/1b with normal cyclic prefix, the DMRS for PUCCH is assigned to SC-FDMA symbols #2, #3, and #4 in a PUCCH slot.

DMRS Power

Range: -60 to 20

Default: 0

Sets the power in dB of the demodulation reference signal (DMRS) for PUCCH relative to the carrier power.

Delta Shift PUCCH

Range: 1, 2, 3

Default: 1

Enter the Delta Shift , the number of equally spaced cyclic time shifts. This parameter is used in calculating the number of DMRS PUCCH resources per resource block reserved for DMRS. Refer to 3GPP TS 36.211.
