LTE TDD Configuration Summary Table

This section defines the LTE/LTE-Advanced TDD DPCCH/DPDCH's buttons. The Restore Default Settings button is available in all of the LTE TDDn Uplink's tree nodes.

Restores all of the LTE/LTE-Advanced TDD channel's parameters to their default conditions.

1. UL-SCH Settings

Payload Data

Choice: PN9 | PN15 | User Defined

Default: PN9

Double-click or use the Closeddrop-down menu to select UL-SCH Payload Data Type.

PN9

Uses PN9 sequence as data bits

PN15

Uses PN15 sequence as data bits

User Data

Uses a user-defined sequence in a file as data bits, represented by binary data.

Modulation Type

Choice: QPSK | 16QAM | 64QAM

Default: QPSK

When Transmission Setting Mode in UL-SCH channel is set to Manual, double-click or use the drop-down menu to select the modulation type for the PUSCH. When the Transmission Setting Mode in the UL-SCH channel is set to Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS), this value is calculated by the MCS Index. Refer 3GPP TS36.211, Table 8.6.1-1 for more details.

Payload Configuration Type

Choice: MCS Index | Manual

Default: MCS

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select the UL-SCH Payload Configuration Type.

MCS Index

Selects a payload size determined by the Table 7.1.7.2.1-1 ( 3GPP TS36.213) which specifies the permissible combinations of transport block size, resource allocation and modulation scheme that are available for transmission.

Manual

Allows you to enter any payload size within the minimum (16) and maximum limits (75376) of Table 7.1.7.2.1-1 (3GPP TS36.213).

MCS Index

Range: 0 to 28

Default: 5

Enter a value of MCS Index. This parameter is used when the Payload Configuration Type is MCS is set to MCS Index.

TBS Index

Displays the value of TBS index. The value is calculated by the MCS Index, Refer to 3GPP TS36.211, Table 8.6.1-1 for more details. This parameter is used when the UL-SCH Payload Configuration Type is set to MCS Index.

Payload Size (bits)

Range: 16 to 75376

Default: 2216

When the UL-SCH Payload Configuration Type is set to MCS Index, the payload size is determined by the size of occupied resource blocks and the MCS Index. Refer to 3GPP TS36.213 for more detailed information.

When the UL-SCH Payload Configuration Type is set to Manual, this parameter sets the size of the UL-SCH payload.

2. Hybrid-ARQ Settings

Maximum Number of Retransmissions

Range: 0 to 27

Default: 3

Enter the maximum number of times for the uplink shared channel to be retransmitted.

RV Index Sequence

Default: 0, 2, 3, 1

Entry format: Array of RV Index (Integer 0-3)

Array length: 1 to 28

Enter the RV (redundancy version) Index sequence pattern for verifying HARQ responses. The RV Index data can be entered as a sequence with values of 0, 1, 2, 3 separated by commas. When the specified length of RV index sequence pattern is shorter than the maximum number of retransmission, the pattern is repeated until reaching the maximum length.

3. Hybrid-ARQ ACK/NACK Data Settings

Data Source

Choice: Internal | External

Default: Internal

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select HARQ ACK/NACK control signal source.

Internal

Uses an internal user-defined signal.

External

Uses an external signal from AUX ports.

Data

Choice: All ACK, All NACK, Custom Pattern, User Data

Default: All ACK

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select the feedback mode for the HARQ ACK/NACK input port. This parameter is used when the Data Source is set to Internal.

All ACK

All ACK sequence

All NACK

All NACK sequence

Custom Pattern Uses a user-defined sequence as data bits, represented by binary data.

User Data

Selects a user-defined sequence from an existing file or uses a pattern that you create by entering the character data values: 'A': ACK, 'N': NACK in the Data Source Selection dialog box.

Data Transmission Mode

Choice: Level Triggered | Serial Bits

Default: Level Triggered

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select the HARQ ACK/NACK control signal source. This parameter is used when the Data Source is set to External.

Input Delay (AUX Multiplexed Mode)

Default: 0 (Fixed)

Indicates the delay time of the input port for control HARQ ACK/NACK. This parameter is used when HARQ ACK/NACK Data Source is External and the AUX Operating Mode is set to Multiplexed.

Input Delay (AUX Dedicated Mode)

Default: 0 (Fixed)

Indicates the delay of HARQ ACK response of the serial data transmission. The unit of the delay number is subframe. This parameter is used when HARQ ACK/NACK Data Source is External and the AUX Operating Mode is set to Dedicated.

Data Default Value (AUX Dedicated Mode)

Choice: Choice: NACK | ACK

Default: NACK

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to select the default value of HARQ ACK/NACK response of the serial data transmission when the feedback signal is not received. This parameter is used when HARQ ACK/NACK Data Source is External and the AUX Operating Mode is set to Dedicated.
