Install PD1000A Configuration Files

In addition to the PD1000A Control Software for IV/CV and S-Parameter tests, you must download and install additional configuration files from: www.keysight.com/find/PD1000A. Keysight recommends that you save these downloaded files to a memory stick for later use during system installation.

The files you need to download are:

  • PD1000A ConfigurationTool.exe — Sets up environment variables on for the B1506A (for IV and CV measurements) and the E5080A ENA (for S-Parameter measurements).

  • UHC Selector Input Selection.xtd — for IV and CV tests

  • Temperature Sensor 1.xtd — for IV/CV tests

  • Temperature Sensor 2.xtd — for IV/CV tests

  • Gate Diode PD1000A.xtd — for IV/CV gate diode tests

  • Ic-Vge PD1000A.xtd — for IV/CV Ic-Vge tests

  • Id-Vgs PD1000A.xtd — for IV/CV Id-Vgs tests

  • Rg, Cgg for IGBT PD1000A.XTD — for IV/CV Rg, Cgg tests

  • Rg, Cgg for PowerMOSFET PD1000A.XTD — for IV/CV Rg, Cgg Power MOSFET tests

  • PD1000ACOM.exe — for IV/CV tests. This must be installed on the B1505A/B or 1506A hard drive in the root directory, C:.

  • TO_Fixture_In.xkt — E5080A Calibration Kit file for S-Parameter measurements

  • TO_Fixture_Out.xkt — E5080A Calibration Kit file for S-Parameter measurements

The additional configuration files listed above are required only for the IV/CV and S-Parameter tests. The PD1500ADouble-Pulse Test System requires a Oscilloscope Port Forwarding Utility, a Coaxial Shunt De-Embedding File (Transfer File), and setting static IP addresses on the test instruments. Refer to the PD1500A System Installation Guide for detailed instructions to obtain and install these files.
