Data Display Features

Keysight's PD1000A Software provides several useful features for the S-parameter data displays.

IV and CV device characterization plots appear on the B1506A or B1505A network analyzer screen, not on the host PC PD1000A display. See Sample Plots.

 

Display Shortcuts
Left-click Left-click to displays specific data for the nearest data plot point.
Right-click + drag Right-click and drag the data display to scroll the data left/right and up/down.
Mouse wheel Roll the mouse wheel to zoom in or out.
Fit to Screen button Click to reset the display.
S-Parameter/Cgd/Cds/Cgs button (On-state S-parameter only) 
Toggles display between S-parameter (S-parameter power vs. frequency) and Capacitance vs. frequency displays.

Change Size of Data Area

To resize the data area:

  1. Mouse-over the area between the data display and the test settings. This highlights a slider bar between the two areas and displays an arrow.

  2. Right-click and drag the arrow to resize the data area.

Zoom In or Out

  • Roll the mouse wheel to zoom in or out on the data plot.

  • To reset the display, click Fit to Screen:

Scroll Data

  • Right-click on the display, then hold and drag to scroll the data left/right or up/down.

  • To reset the display, click Fit to Screen

Display Specific Data Points

During or after a test, mouse-over any place on the graphic plot and then click. A yellow data box appears at the nearest data trace and shows the test measurement data at that specific point:

Choose S-Parameter or Capacitance Display

Click the S-Parameter, Cgd, Cds, or Cgs button to toggle the on-state S-parameter display between S-parameter (S-parameter power vs. frequency) and Cgd (Crss), Cds, or Cgs.

Reset the Display

To reset the display, click the Fit to Screen button. This re-centers and re-sizes the display to its original settings.
