Install, Uninstall or Update IO Libraries Suite

Connection Expert utilty is available as a part of IO Libraries suite. To install, update or uninstall IO Libraries suite, refer to readme.htm file, which is available at the following locations:

  • Navigate to the IO Libraries suite page, under the Trials and Licenses tab, select either the Windows or the Linux readme.
  • Alternatively, after installing IO Libraries Suite, you can open Readme from IO Control > Documentation > IO Libraries Suite Readme.

  • IO Control is installed in the notification / tray area of the taskbar. It provides quick access to many utilities and help files. Depending on system configuration, this is typically on the bottom right of the screen, near the system clock. The IO Control icon may appear directly on the taskbar, or it may be nested with hidden icons (click the up arrow in the taskbar to reveal hidden icons) as shown below.

Launching Connection Expert

There are two methods to launch Connection Expert (CE):

  • Launch from Desktop:

    • Navigate to your Windows desktop.

    • Locate Keysight Connection Expert and double click it to open.

  • Launch from Start Menu

    • Press Windows Key on your keyboard or click the Start menu.

    • Locate Keysight Connection Expert in the list and click to open it.
