This procedure consists of two adjustments, FS/2 and FRAC-N. The first, FS/2, minimizes a spurious response that is caused by half of the LO frequency mixing with the input signal. The second, FRAC-N minimizes spurious responses at a 3 kHz offset caused by fractional N synthesis. Unlike the previous adjustments, these are not fully automated and require manual adjustments during the procedure.
The signal source is provided by a signal generator. A multimeter is used to measure voltages at the ABUS test point. The software makes the measurements and prompts you to make the adjustments.
