IQ Internal Channel Correction Coarse Calibration (Adjustment)

(N5166B, N5171B / N5172B / N5181B / N5182B / N5182N)

The following calibrations must be performed prior to running this adjustment:

The goal of this calibration is to flatten the modulated signal from the DUT. This calibration is broken into 2 components, the RF sub section and the base band subsection. Nine bands of the RF subsection are calibrated to remove non linearity, and stored away. Following, the Baseband subsection is then calibrated to remove non linearity. This data is then used to calculate a first order approximation of the phase data for both the RF subsection and base band section. The combined coarse measurement of the magnitude and the calculation of the resulting phase will then be used to further refine the flatness coefficients when running the IQ Channel Flatness Fine Calibration.
