Error Terms Adjustment

This test applies to the following models:

 
  • N995xA: Both ports are tested.
  • N996xA: Only test Port 1.
  • This adjustment requires Option CFG. Refer to the CFG Option topic for more information.

  • If the Source Power adjustment is performed, the Error Terms Adjustment must then be performed.

This adjustment refreshes the default calibration used for the CAT/NA CalReady function.

The effects of the Error Terms adjustment are isolated to the results of the Error Terms Verification Utility. The Error Terms adjustment does not affect the results of any other tests or adjustments.

Before performing this adjustment, it is recommended that the FieldFox port connectors be cleaned. Connection of the calibration standards should be done carefully using a torque wrench. Refer to the appropriate calibration kit user's guide for more information.
