The purpose of this adjustment is to pair together the M9350A downconverter with the M9214A digitizer to work at optimal performance. The routine measures and adjusts for any additional IF gain between the two modules.
It is required to run this adjustment anytime a new downconverter or digitizer has been swapped into the M9391A VSA whether as a core replacement or module swap.
After running the adjustment, you may proceed directly to the Performance Verification Tests and no other adjustments are required unless there are performance test failures. Self Test will fail with errors if this step is not performed.
