IEEE 802.16 OFDM Demod Properties Dialog Box
The dialog box contains parameters that configure the VSA to demodulate 802.16 OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. modulated signals.
The 802.16 OFDM demodulator must be selected before this dialog box is available. To enable the demodulator, click .
The dialog box contains these tabs:
- Advanced Tab: Specifies the advanced parameters used to demodulate nonstandard and/or user defined 802.16 OFDM signals and to manipulate trace data results.
- Format Tab: Specifies the 802.16 OFDM demod configuration parameters. These are the parameters necessary for the VSA to lock on to and demodulate the test signal.
- Time Tab: Specifies the signal capture configuration parameters. These parameters are used to select the pulse search length and to isolate a segment of the time record for further viewing and data analysis.
