Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff (802.16 OFDM)

Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff shows the adjacent subcarrier power difference in dB. The power difference is computed by scanning through the Channel Frequency Response trace and taking the ratio of each subcarrier power to the the previous subcarrier power.

The default trace has a Y-axis from +0.5 dB to -0.5 dB and the X-axis in Hz.

The trace will automatically be averaged if averaging has been turned on for the measurement. The Inst Eq Chan Freq Resp Adj Diff trace shows the current trace that is getting averaged in.

If the signal is a "subchannel" signal (it does not use all 200 subcarriers), then the Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff trace assumes a smooth interpolation between the subcarriers that are used.

The Equalizer Training defaults to Preamble Only so if both the preamble and data bursts are needed to estimate the channel response, change the Equalizer Training to Preamble & Data.
