Boosting Level (802.16 OFDMA)

Menu Path: MeasSetup > IEEE 802.16 OFDMA Demod Properties > Zone Definition tab

Default: 0 dB (See OFDMA Standard Presets Table.)

Boosting Level specifies the boosting level for the data bursts. The Enable Defined Burst Boosting Levels check box

Boosting Level is only available for the Downlink Subframe Type in Data Burst Analysis mode (Enable Burst Analysis on the Zone Definition tab selected).

The data burst Boosting Level affects the magnitude of data subcarriers used by the data burst.  The pilot tones are not affected unless using Dedicated Pilots (only applies to AMC Adaptive Modulation and Coding Definition Zone types).
