MIMO Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff (802.16 OFDMA)

MIMO Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff shows, in dB, the power difference between adjacent subcarriers. The power difference is computed by scanning through the MIMO Channel Frequency Response trace and taking the ratio of each bin to the previous bin.

The default trace has a Y-axis from +0.5 dB to -0.5 dB and the X-axis in Hz.

The trace will automatically be averaged if averaging has been turned on for the measurement. The MIMO Inst Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff trace shows the current trace that is getting averaged in.

When a signal contains non-used subcarriers, then the MIMO Ch Freq Resp Adj Diff trace assumes a smooth interpolation between the used subcarriers.

This trace is available only for Downlink STC Space Time Coding (STC) allows the transmitter to transmit signals (information) both in time and space, meaning the information is transmitted by two antennas at two different times consecutively./MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. measurements..
