Spectrum (Negative Peak) (Adjacent Channel Power)

Spectrum (Negative Peak) displays the output from the Negative Peak detector. When measurement averaging is enabled, Spectrum (Negative Peak) is the average of Inst Spectrum (Negative Peak), averaged over the number of traces specified in the Count field, and the averaging type and count (e.g.," RMS:10") are displayed at the top of the trace's display. When measurement averaging is disabled, the Spectrum (Negative Peak) and Inst Spectrum (Negative Peak) displays are identical.

See ACP Spectrum Trace Data Block Diagram and Detectors and Power Spectrum Analysis for more information.

The Spectrum (Negative Peak) trace data only appears when the Negative Peak detector is enabled.

Spectrum (Negative Peak) may be channelized when multiband spectrum is in use, providing trace results for each spectrum/measurement channel shown on the Frequency tab.
