Channel 1 CDP Trace Data (cdma2000/1xEV-DV)
CDP trace data provides composite and code layer Code Domain Power and Code Domain Error trace data results. Code Domain Power (CDP) is an analysis of the distribution of signal power across the set of code channels normalized to the total signal power.
-
CDP Composite Trace Data: This is the CDP (Code Domain Power) and CDE (Code Domain Error) trace data result for the composite signal. Composite trace data results are derived from data for the total signal. This includes the combined data from all Walsh Code Lengths (or Symbol Rates) and Walsh Code Numbers.
-
CDP Layer Trace Data: This is the CDP (Code Domain Power) and CDE (Code Domain Error) trace data results for a specified code layer. You use the CDP Layer
drop down list to specify the code layer tab).
CDP can be viewed as absolute power by clearing the
check box ( tab).Display Format
The data is shown in a multi-color format that assigns a unique color to each code layer and related active code channels. This makes it easy to visually identify and distinguish the active code channels (Walsh Code Number) for a given code layer (Walsh Code Length). The colors are also user definable (See Display Preferences).
For CDP and CDE trace data displays with separate I/Q channel trace bars, to position the Marker to the desired Code Layer/Channel bar, you must click in close proximity to the horizontal bar that indicates the value of the code channel being measured.
