Custom OFDM Demod Properties Dialog Box
The Custom OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. Demod Properties dialog box contains parameters that let you configure the VSA to demodulate user defined Custom OFDM modulated signals.
The Custom OFDM demodulator must be selected before this dialog box is available. To enable the demodulator, click
.The dialog box contains these tabs:
-
Frame Definition Tab: Lets you configure the frame definition.
-
Format Tab: Lets you access the Custom OFDM configuration parameters. These are the parameters that specify the PHY Physical Layer Layer parameter settings and Frame Data Structure.
-
Time Tab: Lets you access the signal capture configuration parameters. You use these parameters to select the pulse search length/threshold and to isolate a segment of the time record for further viewing and data analysis.
-
Equalizer & Tracking Tab: Lets you access the equalization and filtering parameters.
-
Filter Tab: Lets you access parameters for configuring multi-carrier filters.
-
Advanced Tab: Lets you access advanced parameters you can use to demodulate nonstandard and/or user defined Custom OFDM signals and to manipulate trace data results.
-
Multiple Access: Lets you configure demodulation parameters for FBMC Modulation Scheme and NOMA/SCMA Multiple Access Scheme configurations.
