Mod Scheme (GSM/EDGE/EDGE Evolution)
Mod Schemedisplays the modulation scheme of the burst in the current Timeslot. The modulation scheme can be specified by the Modulation Scheme parameter on the or set to be automatically detected. The modulation scheme can be one of the following:
- GMSK Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying
- AQPSK
- 8PSK (EDGE Enhanced Data for Global Evolution: A technology that gives GSMA and TDMA similar capacity to handle services for the third generation of mobile telephony. EDGE was developed to enable the transmission of large amounts of data at a high speed, 384 kilobits per second. (It increases available time slots and data rates over existing wireless networks.))
- 16QAM
- 32QAM
- HSR QPSK Quadrature phase shift keying
- HSR 16QAM
- HSR 64QAM
