Available Summary Data (GSM/EDGE/EDGE Evolution)
The
trace contains information about the quality of the burst being analyzed. Below is a list of available data results and links to their descriptions.- 95% EVM - the EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. value for which 95% of all symbol EVMs fall below
- AM/PM Skew - the timing skew between the phase and magnitude parts of the signal
- Amp Droop - the average change in the magnitude of the signal over the burst being measured (dB/slot)
- EVM - the RMS average error vector magnitude for all symbols in the current slot
- Freq Err - the burst's average frequency offset from the center frequency
- Gain Imb - gain imbalance between I and Q
- IQ Offset - the ratio of the power at the center frequency to the average signal power.
- Mag Err - magnitude error averaged across all symbols in the burst
- Mod Scheme - the modulation scheme of the burst
- Phase Err - the average phase error for all symbols in the current slot
- Pk EVM - the peak EVM value in the burst (supports RMS averaging)
- Quad Err - the angle error between the I and Q signals averaged across all symbols in the burst
- Slot Index - the index of the current timeslot
- Time Offset - the time offset from the measurement trigger to T0 (the half-way point in the training sequence)
- TSC - the training sequence code index(es) for the current slot
