Acquisition Configuration (Flex Frame)

The Acquisition Configuration parameter group uses an editor to configure acquisition parameters and assign component carriers to measurement channels. Overall status is also reported for each channel.

Channel displays the measurement channel number. These are different than instrument front-panel channels.

Default: Ch1

Status Displays the status of the measurement channel. Click Edit... to correct the problem.

No Error - The channel has at least one assigned component carrier and the center frequency and span values are valid for the configured measurement.
Warning - The span is narrower than the Symbol Rate_*(1 + Filter Alpha) but wider than the Symbol Rate.
Error - Any component carrier that is not assigned to a channel will be listed as an error, or there is a problem with the frequency center or span. See the error message for details. Click Edit... to correct the problem(s).

Frequency Center displays the channel's center frequency. Click Edit... to change the channel's center frequency.

This is the same as MeasSetup > Frequency > Center.

Default: Depends on the connected hardware

Frequency Span displays the frequency span. Click Edit... to change the frequency span.

This is the same as MeasSetup > Frequency > Span.

All VSA input channels must have the same frequency span.

Assigned Carriers displays the component carriers assigned to each channel. Click Edit... to assign one or more carriers to the channel.

Default: None

Overall Status sets the length of the frame in number of symbols.

No Error - The acquisition configuration has at least one assigned component carrier to one channel and the center frequency and span values are valid for all channels in the acquisition.

Edit... opens the Acquisition Configuration Editor.
