BER (Flex Frame)
indicates the measurement's calculated Bit Error Rate for the frame allocations that are configured to be included in BER calculations.
BER Bit Error Ratio - A ratio of the number of errors to data bits received on a digital circuit. is expressed as a ratio and calculated as
BER = Bit Errors / Bit Count.
When measurement averaging is enabled, the bit errors and bit count will accumulate until the average is reset. When measurement averaging is disabled, bit errors, bit count and BER values are reset with each acquisition.
When no allocations are included in BER calculations, ‘***’ is shown.
