Active Channel Power (Flex Frame)

Active Channel Power is the average power of the active symbols of the frame.

Active Channel Power is calculated as follows:

  1. Follow steps 1-3 from the Channel Power calculation.
  2. The total active channel power is calculated in the time domain using all the active symbols in the measurement interval.
  3. The active channel power is calculated by averaging the total active channel power over active symbols in the measurement interval.

For consistent channel power results across all traces (Summary, Spectrum, Time, etc.), set MeasSetup > ResBW > Window Type to Uniform (Rectangular).
