First Region FM Slope

Menu Path: MeasSetup > FMCW Radar Properties > Reference Synchronization

First Region FM Frequency Modulation Slope specifies which of the automatically detected LFM regions should be identified as the first region within the measured LFM region-group pattern. The first region is identified as Ref Region index 1 within the FMCW Region Table , plus associated per Ref Region statistical metric reporting within the Current Statistics and Cumulative Statistics tables.

  • The detected region with the maximum FM Slope will be identified as Reference Region 1.
• Minimum Found
  • The detected region with the minimum FM Slope will be identified as Reference Region 1.
• Nearest To
  • The detected region with the FM Slope nearest to the specified Hz/us value will be identified as Reference Region 1.
• Default selection: Maximum Found
• Default value (Nearest To): 1 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second./us
