Reference Region Count
Menu Path:
Reference Region Count describes the number of unique LFM regions contained within each repetition instance of the measured signal's LFM region-group pattern. This value is used for Reference Region identification within FMCW Region Table results, plus associated Reference Region statistical metric reporting within Current Record Statistics and Cumulative Statistics tables.
- Automatic
- By default, the FMCW analysis software automatically determines an appropriate Reference Region Count value based on the measured FM Frequency Modulation Slope (Hz/us) modulation trace results observed over the Acquisition Length time. This automatically determined Reference Region Count value is reported in FMCW Summary results table as the Ref Region metric.
- Manual
- Alternatively, you can manually specify an appropriate Reference Region Count value to use based on the measured signal's LFM region-group pattern.
- Default selection: Automatic
- Default value (Manual): 1
