Selecting Stimulus/Response Data (Graph Settings)

At the top of the Graph Settings dialog, you can select the Stimulus (x-axis) and Response (y-axis) time data to use in the Graph trace. You can select most traces that contains time data. In addition to pre-demod time traces such as Search Time or Main Time, post-demod results, including IQ Meas Time and IQ Ref Time, are also available for selection. Registers with time data can also be chosen; however, Math Functions cannot be chosen.

By default, the Auto check box is selected. In this case, the VSA will try to choose valid stimulus and response data based on these rules:

Single measurement defined
- Single-channel instrument:
  
  Stimulus = Register D1, Response = Ch1 Main Time
- Multiple-channel instrument:
  
  Stimulus = Ch1 Main Time, Response = Ch2 Main Time
Two or more measurements defined

Stimulus = First measurement's Ch1 Main Time, Response = Second measurement's Ch1 Main Time

To specify stimulus and response data manually, clear the Auto check box.
