Trace Tab (Display Preferences)
The
tab on the menu turns on and off the display grids, annotation, and to choose to display all frequency points. The default setting is checked for grids and annotation and cleared for display all frequency points.Trace Decoration

Miscellaneous

: When is cleared, only alias-protected data is shown. When is selected, all data including aliased frequency points is shown. This also includes data that extends beyond the measurement hardware’s minimum or maximum frequency range. The data that is shown may not be valid, so use caution when using this setting.

: Enabling this parameter will "sample and hold" (show point value for duration of bin) for each point instead of the default linear interpolation between points.

dBm deciBels referenced to a milliWatt: dB relative to 1 milliwatt dissipated in the nominal input impedance of the analyzer is the preferred YUnit when YUnit is set to Auto. This preference setting affects the Time traces (Raw Main Time, Main Time, Search Time, etc.) when shown in LogMag trace format. These traces were previously in dBVpk by default. This preference does not affect Spectrum traces as dBm is already the default unit.
