Manipulating Math Functions

The Math Functions dialog box shows all currently available math functions and includes buttons that view, edit, delete, or create a math function. The following table describes some common math function tasks:

Task	Procedure
Show a math function in a trace window	Select a trace window and click Trace > Data > Math > {name of math function} See Selecting Trace Data for more information.

View and edit a math function	From the main menu, click Utilities > Math Functions. Select the math function. The math function will be shown in the Edit area below the list of math functions. See Creating Math Functions for more information about math function syntax.

Delete a math function	From the main menu, click Utilities > Math Functions. Select the math function. Click the Delete button.

Create a math function	From the main menu, click Utilities > Math Functions and then click the New button.

Recall or save a math function	From the main menu, click Utilities > Math Functions. Click the Recall or Save as buttons. See Importing and Exporting Math Functions for more information.
