Connection (Input Analog Tab)

Menu Path: Input > Analog

The Connection parameter specifies the input impedance terminations on the measurement hardware for the selected Logical Channel.

The two options for Connection are:

• Single-ended (unbalanced)
• Differential (balanced)

This parameter can be selected for All channels or individually for each available channel. The available channels are displayed in Logical Channel located at the top of the dialog box. If the selections for individual channels are different, the arrow button () after the Connection text box will be orange. Click the arrow button to view the Connection selection for each available channel.

Some measurement hardware provides the following input impedance terminations:

Example Input Impedance Termination Selections

Single-ended Termination: This refers to an unbalanced input termination.
Differential Termination:This refers to a balanced input termination.
